I had been counselling for last 17 years specifically for marital affairs and psychological disorders. Today I am teaching various educations on the mind, the mind of sex, the treatment of the mind, the treatment of the mind of sex, the treatment for sexual function, and the treatment for marital affairs at Korea Psychology Academy. Having been analyzing the psychological disorders induced by marital affairs and learning the psychology of man and woman interact in such complicated way I have also studied the fundamental principle of human psychology. Psychological disorders caused by marital affairs are extremely unique that the traditional psychological theory or therapy cannot deal with them. They accompany many various separate psychological disorders, marital conflicts, sexual problem, family issue, sociological issue, and economic issue.
So I learned that these psychological disorders cannot be cured without the knowledge of principle of the function of human mind and psychology. I have introduced the different psychological notion in the Mind Theory instead of using the traditional psychological theories. I classified the conscious and unconscious and psychology differently and divided the unconscious as habit and the mind energy. The Mind theory views that human psychology functions based on different function of the mind with its pursuit for different happiness between man and woman.
Human psychology can also be classified the psychology of cognition, that of memory, and that of expression. In the realm of the mind of cognition the conscious is at work; the mind of memory, both the conscious and unconscious; and the mind of expression, the unconscious. And the existing defence mechanisms are the pattern resulted from habit. They are not original. In the Mind theory there are denial and acceptance regarding defence mechanisms.
There are three standards or rules in the Mind theory regarding human mind. Firstly, it is the standard of the pursuit of happiness, meaning man pursues the futuristic happiness while woman, the present happiness. Whether information meets the standard of happiness or not determines the occurrence of emotion and function of psychology.
Secondly it is the defence mechanism of positive and negative emotions, the defence mechanism for pursuing the standard of happiness. Man uses denial for his negative mood, acceptance for his positive mood. Woman uses acceptance as her defence for her negative feeling, denial for her positive feeling. Thus man can hardly recall his negative mood yet remembers positive mood while woman cannot remember her positive feeling yet cannot recall her negative feeling.
Lastly, it is the standard of xesmind. For man, the mind of sex begins to work through his passion however for woman through the process of love. Thus, the sexual behaviour can be manifested through his passion and for woman it can be shown through her love therefore the sexual behaviour is taken as love for woman.
With these three standards, human mind take control over the conscious and unconscious so that they function all emotions to comply with the standard of happiness. This is the standard of human psychology and concept of the Mind theory.
Psychological disorders are the classification of the abnormal functions of human psychology comparing its function against the standard of the mind. The occurrence of psychological disorders simply does not imply misery since they are not sorted as the object of happiness or unhappiness even as treatment. Despite of psychological disorders, if one still can be happy with others they are not the object of cure also it is not misery. But if one is not happy with oneself and others because of psychological disorders then they become the object of psychotherapy. Therefore we need to remove our own bias and preconceived ideas regarding various psychological disorders from our own understanding on psychological disorders. What seems good on the outside is not always good in nature and same goes for the bad. This is the philosophy of the Mind theory.
